I have 3 tips for you to get rid of stubborn belly fat…
Don’t get rid of carbs completely because they help optimize hormones..
You can only eat complex carbs on the days you are doing resistance training… on the days that you are not training, you are going to eat fibrous carbs.
Just make sure you are eating good carbs.
Second… Intermittent Fasting
People make intermittent fasting sound scary.. But it’s not as difficult as people make it out to be.
I like to utilize the 16/8 split. So, you are fasting for 16 hours a day, and then you can eat in that 8 hour window. For example stop eating by 8pm. And don’t eat until 12pm the next day. So from 12-8 is when you can consume calories.
Combining these 2 things is going to help you get that fat off… but you want your workouts to be intense to help ramp up your metabolism.
Lastly… THE WORKOUT!
This workout is going to be circuit-styled. Combining this workout with the other 2 tips, you are going to be at a huge caloric deficit… so you will be burning fat quickly.
I like to do legs first in this workout because it gets your heart rate going and your metabolism boosting.
These are exercises are meant to be done back-to-back.
First exercise… dumbbell squats. Second… reverse lunges. Third of the leg exercises… jump squats.
After doing leg work, I like to go then to the upper body. Next up… dumbbell bench press, and if you don’t have a bench you can do it on the floor (just limits the range of motion).
Immediately after, going into a dumbbell bent over row… make sure to hinge at the hips. Next exercise… dumbbell overhead press.
NOW WE ARE GOING TO GET INTO THE AB WORK.
First exercise… Russian twists. Second exercise… weighted crunches. Last exercise in this circuit… bicycle crunches.
