We are going to do some TriCon Training exercises in this workout for your quads and your hamstrings. This whole workout will consist of 3 set of 9 repetitions for each exercise. The first exercise we are going to do is the back squat. I typically like to start with the back squat when doing an intense leg workout. Making sure to do the proper form for squats is very important to get the most optimal results from this exercise, and helps make it a great leg workout for men at home. The next intense exercise for legs is single leg RDL’s.
Single leg RDL’s are a great exercise to add for an intense leg day workout at home. With this exercise, I like to use a bar or something sturdy for balance when doing these. When doing this, you want to make sure to focus on keeping the core tight and the back rigid. Focus on that hinge at the hips! After you do one side, go ahead and switch to the other side. Also, make sure to really squeeze the glutes at the top. By the end of this workout, you’ll see why this is one of the greatest workouts for legs at home. Now, let’s start the next exercise for this intense leg day workout.
The next exercise is called goblet squats, which is the first TriCon exercise in this workout and will help add to making this one of the great workouts for legs at home. So, with TriCon sets you are going to do 3 normal reps, then 3 TriCon reps, and then 3 slow reps. When doing this you are trying to plant your feet in the ground and try to spread that floor apart! You also want to make sure to get a good contraction and feel that burn! This is an intense leg workout, and to me is the best leg workout for men at home. The last exercise in this leg day workout for men is low cable pull-throughs. Which is another TriCon set that focuses on the hamstrings and glutes. Legs should be shoulder width and slightly bent and lock your elbows to your side. The TriCon exercises in this workout help make this a intense workout for legs. Again, you are going to want to do 3 sets of 9 for each of these exercises.
When doing this intense leg workout for men it is really important for the TriCon sets to make sure that you are really getting that full stretch and trying to pull the floor apart. It can make this the best muscle building leg workout, and will help give a successful leg day for men.
