The following exercises are designed to reduce the risk of complications such as abdominal weakness or low back pain following your ab surgery. These exercises should not be painful to do. It is important to do them daily as outlined in this video after getting doctor’s approval. I will teach you how to work the abs from the inside out gently, both helping to heal your body, as well as strengthen your core.

Whether it’s a c-section, appendectomy or something else, it can be tough to get back to exercise after you’ve had abdominal surgery. Some doctors advise waiting 6-8 weeks before resuming activity, but each person is different. Always talk to your doctor before you start any workout program – this is especially important if you are looking to start a post-surgery workout or pregnancy exercise program.
